Teamwork Visual

Leadership is important but teamwork is essential. When asked why he had a team of twenty-one assistants, Thomas Edison said, "If I could solve all the problems myself, I would."

Leaders set the tone in organizations. But they can’t, and don’t, do it all themselves. Teamwork is paramount, regardless of how great leadership is.

What makes a team great? Why do some succeed and others fail? What should the makeup of a team be? These questions and others will be answered at an upcoming workshop to be held from 8:30-11:30 am on July 15 at the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, 175 Strafford Avenue, Wayne, PA. This fun-filled interactive program will be facilitated by Frank Felsburg and Cynthia Huber. Both are on the board of ASTD (Greater Philadelphia Chapter), the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance.

Attendees will take a profile beforehand to determine their team approach. Five different teambuilding styles will be discussed. Participants will leave the workshop with a 12-page description of their teambuilding behavior as well as a better understanding of other approaches. This program will include a number of exercises and games developed around the bestselling book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni. Participants will walk away with solutions to the five dysfunctions. The program will enable individuals to be better communicators, better employees, better employers, better leaders and better team players.
